I think this is a debate worthy of constant commentary. I’m not going to write a thing. Here is your opportunity to make your case. I am looking forward to hearing the case for your preference from the perspective of casual user, business user, real estate professional user, real estate consumer user.
Have at it.

OK. First off, sorry I missed the blog link before.
Second, the question “which phone should I get” is highly charged. You’ll get Apple fan boys who think that any other product is inferior (and the same with Android) which is simply not the case.
(A) Which phone you choose depends a great deal on which provider you use. I have been a Sprint customer for many years. It used to be that their service was abhorrent, but over the past few years, it’s gotten so good that I would have to think very long and hard about ever leaving. Anyway, whom you’re using will have a big impact on which phone you use.
(B) The iPhone is a brilliant piece of hardware. The OS is beautiful. If Sprint offered an iPhone, I might consider going that way, but they don’t, so the question is moot.
(C) Android users are outnumbering iPhone users in big numbers these days. The number of apps that are available in its marketplace is enormous. Sure, there are some that are only available for iPhone, but the Android platform, in most instances, has equivalent applications. I use an HTC EVO (have had it for about a year) and with the exception of battery life (which has been greatly improved since the latest software upgrade), I’ve been delighted with it.
(D) My phone has two cameras — rear-facing 10MP and front-facing 5MP — as well as video and such. I had “facetime” long before Apple was offering it on their phones. The camera takes stunning photographs AND I can stream video live to the Web using QIK (which is COOL).
(E) Android syncs with everything. I have several email accounts that are synced, and I use a cloud-based music app called MSpot, which syncs my iTunes library (who says you have to have an iPod, hmm?)
(F) Screen on my phone is HUGE. Same with Droid X (much better hardware than the original DROID about which our Apple-loving friend complains).
(G) I could go on like this for ages. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Happy to give my honest, unfazed-by-shiny-things opinion.

Melissa, this is maybe the most rational (so far) explanation I have had and it answers quite a few of my questions. I hear so much about the iPhone that I think I get sucked into the whirlpool but when I start asking questions, I get more and more answers like yours.
